At Intersport Val d’Isère, you will find a wide choice of bindings for your snowboard. Soft bindings (strap bindings) are currently the most common bindings. They are compatible with "standard" boots  and all types of snowboards. We also stock flow-in bindings to clip into and out of more quickly with your "step in" bottes.

So as to prepare your board with the best-adapted bindings, our team is at your disposal to determine the stance (distance between the bindings) that suits you.

Snowboard bindings

Below is an easy rule to calculate the stance that is the best for you, knowing that you can adjust it differently according to how you snowboard (see below) :

  • For women : height in mm x 0.27 = distance between the central inserts of your board.

  • For men : height in mm x 0.29 = distance between the central inserts of your board.

After you have determined your stance, the bindings might not be symmetrical in relation to the centre of your board, which our technicians will be able to explain. It’s a parameter that is quite normal and which can determine how much you can control your snowboard.

The further back you surf, the better you can control your board in the powder.

For freestyle : + 0 - 1 cm further back towards the tail
For freeride : + 1 - 4 cm further back towards the tail
For on piste snowboarding : + 0 à 2 cm further back towards the tail
