We have listed below the most frequently asked questions. If you have any questions that are not answered here, you can contact us directly.

What deposit has to be paid to reserve ski or snowboard equipment ?
To confirm a ski or snowboard equipment rental reservation, you must pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount of your reservation.

How can I pay for on-line ski rental ?
To reserve your skis on line, Intersport Val d’Isère accepts credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, Carte Bleue, etc), “chèques vacances” or French bank cheques.

If I don’t want to pay with my credit card, how can I reserve my skis ?
On the site www.intersport-val-disere.com, credit card payments are secure. You can see this from the padlock icon at the bottom of the page when you are on the ski reservation page. If you do not want to pay with your credit card, you can send us a deposit cheque by post. Your reservation will be confirmed when we receive your cheque. We will send you a confirmation email and a voucher that you must bring with you when you come to collect your equipment.

Do you accept ‘chèques vacances’ as payment for ski rental ?
We accept ‘chèques vacances’ in the shop. You can therefore pay the balance of your rental in ‘chèques vacances’ when you come to collect your rental equipment.

How do I do an exchange after receiving the voucher ?
If you want to change the size of your boots, for example, once you have paid your deposit and received your voucher, you can simply contact us and we will change your voucher and send you the new one.

How do I cancel my reservation ?
If you want to cancel your reservation, your deposit will not be reimbursed. However, you will not have to pay the balance (see ‘Intersport Val d’Isère general rental conditions’, article 10).

I got my holiday dates wrong and want to collect my ski equipment on Sunday instead of Saturday. What should I do ?
You can send a request by email to info@intersport-val-disere.com to change your reservation dates.

I have reserved my equipment on line but I want to know what I need to show at the shop when I arrive ?
To collect the equipment that you have reserved on line, you must bring the voucher that you were sent by email when you reserved.

Is it possible to rent skis for the day ?
On-line rental reservations are for a minimum of 2 days. You can rent equipment for the day directly at the shop.

I am a loyal Intersport customer. Can I use my loyalty card in your shop ?
Any purchase or rental from the Intersport Val d’Isère shop will give you points on your Intersport loyalty card. In accordance with the conditions of your loyalty card contract, purchases are worth 1 point per euro spent plus 10 bonus points.

If the size of my equipment is not right, can I change boot size or skis at the shop ?
You can change your ski or snowboard boots without any extra charge if you see that they are not right when you try them on.
If you do not like your skis or snowboard and you want to change for different ones in the same category as you reserved on line, you can change them in the shop according to availability.
If you prefer to choose a model from a higher category, you will be asked to pay a supplement in the shop.

What is included in the rental packs shown on www.intersport-val-disere.com ?
Intersport Val d’Isère offers packs including “skis + poles + boots” and “snowboard + boots” according to each person’s level: adult, child, beginner, intermediate, expert.

Is it possible to rent just boots or just skis ?
On www.intersport-val-disere.com we offer default “skis+boots” or “snowboard+boots” packs. You can rent skis without boots by un-ticking the box “with boots”. You can also rent just boots.

Is the rental equipment insured for theft or breakage if I reserve on line ?
You cannot take out theft/breakage insurance on line when you reserve. However, you can pay for our “theft or breakage” insurance in the shop when you collect your equipment on arrival.
